Craft Lessons   part 2 – p. 79-92

            In this section Craft Lessons gives many different ideas that students could develop their craft.  Some of ideas included finding a focus, deciding where to begin, writing the no-time narrative, cutting what you don’t need, selecting the right lead, using imagery, varying length of sentences, the recurring line, writing low on the food chain, naming place or character, describing character,   and using interior monologue.

            This section is full of ideas for me to use in the classroom for developing the students’ writing.  The ideas were well explained and helpful.  I will have to implement them into our writing.
