How Full is your Bucket?  Part 3

This section describes how some people are born negative.  It is better to avoid these kind of people (I agree).  Focusing on the positive can even improve the health of an individual and help with life’s challenging days.  However, you do have to individualize your positive reinforcements to each person and situation.

The author gives five strategies for increasing positive emotions.  You will need to prevent bucket dipping by giving out positive reinforcements.  You will need to shine a light on what is right by focusing on the good positive things that are going well in your life.  You need to make friends and give unexpectedly.  Lastly, you need to reverse the golden rule by individualize your positive interactions.

I thought the book was wonderful.  It makes you really want to focus on the positive since the results will be so much more encouraging.  Positive interactions make you feel good.  Giving positive interactions, according to the book, also make you feel better about your self.  Again, I will try to be more positive and watch what I say before I speak.
